This past week has been busy busy busy and fun fun fun all at the same time. R's best friend (A's Godfather) got married and some of my cousins were in town with their children - completely separate events!
The wedding was beautiful. My parents, R's parents and brother were all invited as well making it an even better time! The weather was perfect, the bride was beautiful, the food was great...perfect wedding! We were honored to be a part of the big day!
As you all know, R and I rarely (if ever) leave the kids, however this weekend we left them Friday night for the rehearsal and Saturday night for the wedding. We never leave the kids but managed to have Aunt Susie, Aunt Jeezy, Ta-Ta and Corey babysit....let alone the fact that our cousin was also there with her kids! Needless to say, the full house kept the kids entertained enough to not even bat an eyelash when we left PLUS they love spending time with their aunts and cousins!!
Spending time with our out of town family was fabulous! The kids loved having house guests! P especially loved spending time with his boy cousin that is close to his age that stayed at our house! Better yet, the kids' rooms were actually slept in by the cousins!! A spent the first 24 hours calling my cousin 'the lady' but soon started calling her by name!! Then proceeded to ask where she was whenever she didn't see her in the room, car, etc.
Sunday was spent in Wisconsin at Nonie and Popi's new house...better known as the farm! Everyone was there (except R who was recovering from his weekend of pretending to be a college student again)! All the cousins played, played, played!! Hard to believe all the cousins' kids weren't even all there and we managed to have 10 little ones running around. We wish they lived closer but we will take the time we can get!! What a great weekend...If only it lasted longer!!
