My bedroom - all to myself!!

I am happy to report that with the move we got both P and A out of our bed!! Yippeee!! The kids decided they wanted to share a room. The day before the move we came to our senses and bought two twin beds. P wanted Batman sheets and A wanted Dora sheets. The anal side of me was twitching with the thought of how the two beds would clash and then I came to my senses again.....FINE FINE - At this point, I was willing to get them whatever their little hearts desired. First night came before we knew it and P said he wanted to sleep in my bed and I told him that he had to sleep in his room. Both the kids climbed into their beds and started to fall asleep then P asked A if she wanted to come over to the Batman side and she said no but offered for him to come over to her Dora bed. He went over to her bed and they both fell asleep!! HELL YEAH!!!

The next night they managed to stay in their own beds to go to sleep! A is doing great. She doesn't climb out of bed until morning. I guess that was one of the perks to her sleeping in our bed all this time. She was so used to a bed without bars that the transition was nothing for her!! Anyway, just the baby is in my room now....and my husband!! Think I can get him in the guest room?? Just kidding!!

The other night A was going to sleep and I was next to her. She had her little head on the Dora pillow (which is Dora's smiling face.) I told A to close her eyes and go to sleep and she said, 'Mommy, Dora's not going to sleep - she is looking at me!'

I am back in action...

R and I were considering looking for a different house so we could have a little more space and be a little more spread out. It was something we have been talking about but something we weren't taking too seriously since I was about to have a baby. Well, one thing lead to another and things moved a bit faster than we had planned and we moved! Yes, with a 3 week old baby, we loaded up EVERYTHING and moved about 6 miles down the road!! So, for those that didn't know, you may have thought I wasn't blogging because of the 3rd baby however that is not the case! The computer was shoved in a box for the last week and we finally got it up and running yesterday. My blogs were being neglected because we were packing, sorting, unpacking, cleaning the new house, the old house, taking care of the kidsss, dogs and bird! Oh and that was interesting, moving with a parrot when it was freezing outside! We are 'settled' as much as we should be settled after moving 6 days ago!

I will blog more later. I also need to catch up on the blogs of my friends.

Off to Breakfast with Santa we go...never a dull moment!! EVER!! Each day we earn the name of my blog more and more!! We are loving confusion and I am anxioulsy awaiting the next one...and wishing for twins so I can score an extra one since R is cutting me off at 4!!

Out of the mouths of babes

Yesterday the baby had her weigh-in (which was a great success by the way) and we were all snug in the doctor's office waiting for the big man's arrival into the room. P was looking at me with a cute little look in his eye and said to me, 'Mommy, you sure have a lot of kids....me, A, and M!' Coming from the kid that started harassing me about having another one the first time he held his new baby sister....

Maylia Lucille Arrives...

We are very happy to announce that little Maylia has arrived healthy!! We are all overjoyed with the new arrival!! She is calm, sweet and beautiful!! The kids adore her and we feel very blessed to have another healthy baby!!

11/16/2008
6 lbs, 11 ounces
21.5 inches

I would have downloaded pictures sooner but we couldn't find the cord for the camera....let the confusion begin!!

That and a pipe burst under our house and we had 6 plumbers here the last two days and the entire front yard torn up!! Nothing like a restful welcome home from the hospital!!

In all seriousness, the transition has been perfect and I am already concocting number 4!! As a matter of fact, when P first held the baby, he said, 'Let's have another one tomorrow!' That's my boy - a chip off the old block wanting a lot of kids!!

Anxiously waiting for baby #3

As all of you blog readers know (since you are all close friends and family), we have loved the name Malia (Maylia being our spelling) since we were knocked up with P. Anyway, as thrilled as we are that Obama has won the election, we are a little frustrated that Malia's the name of one of his daughters. We are hearing it on the news, reading it in the paper, AGGGGHHHH!!

Anyway, after much thought (and with the arrival coming at any time), we decided we are going to stick to the name Maylia since it has been on our baby name list since 2004!! We love the name, have always loved the name and I have my old blog (dated 7/9/08) to prove we loved the name loooong before it stumbled into households via the media!! Hell, we loved the name looooong before most people even knew who Obama was....let alone his daughter!!

I reviewed the top girl names of 2007 just to make sure I am going to be fine with our baby girls name making the list for 2008 and after careful review, I am over it. I love all the names on the 2007 list and who the hell cares about the top baby name list?? Not something I give much thought when I hear the names of new babies!!

PLUS, since the name has been on our list for so long and we happen to be blessed with a new baby girl the same month Obama made history, seems meant to be in my book!!

Stay tuned for updates on the arrival of Maylia Lucille!!

Should I be worried?

Today Nonie was showing A an animal picture book and came to the page that had a turkey. My mom asked her what it was and she replied, 'a turkey' and then she said, 'I eat turkey' (keep in mind it was a picture of a cute little turkey on a farm) and then she said, 'I eat turkey - but not the head!!!' Scary! VERY SCARY!!

DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!!

Just a friendly reminder to vote today!

A visit to the zoo...

We went to the zoo yesterday and the animals were so interactive, more so than in the past!! They were walking right up to the glass...a lion even roared right in the kids faces. Acting just like their daddy, they ran away from the glass and jumped into the stroller!! As much as the kids enjoyed themselves, I think I was enjoying the experience even more!! We even stopped off at the gift shop for the kids to get a prize. P picked a new book and A picked a new polar bear stuffed animal....could this possibly be her Elmo* the she will sleep with every night....stay tuned!!
* P has slept with an Elmo blankie every night since he was 4 months....A hasn't seemed to get too attached to anything just yet!!

Offically introducing my little Boss Bird

Boss is loving being back at home with his mommy and family!! He asks to come out of the cage all the time, 'JENNY - I want to come out and play!!' I will get him on video talking at some point but here is one of his MANY tricks!! He is such a little lover and great with the kids! Great with my kids anyway, I can't promise a finger wouldn't be bite if someone else stuck their finger in his cage!!

Just a quick video with a kid in the background and dogs barking...all a part of the confusion I love!!

Has it been that long?

I have to write this on my blog because it was just too darn funny not to document. Inappropriate? Yes!! Hilarius? Yes!!

R and I went out to dinner for our anniversary a couple weeks ago and at the last second my sister offered to watch the kids....marking the 5th time we have actually left them with anyone for our own enjoyment.

Anyway, we were fumbling for conversation when we first got to dinner. No diaper to change, no kids to bring potty, no whining, complaining, sidetracking, wiping up spilled drinks, etc. Just daddy and I at the table.

R started talking politics and said, 'oh about the erection,' clearly meaning to say, 'about the election!'

WOW - has it been that long honey??? I guess he only had one thing on his mind even after all these years of dating and marriage!!!

Memory Lane

When I was single and lived in the city, I became friends with an old man named Joe. I was rumaging through old files on the computer and thought I would share a little something I wrote after he passed away five years ago next month. I still miss Joe today and think about him often....

Sometimes someone comes into your life and touches you so deeply and before you know it they disappear. The first time I saw the old man it was a brisk January day in Chicago and he was scuffling across the courtyard of my apartment. I soon learned that he lived on the third floor for around 40 years. Over the months, I did his shopping, made him dinner, etc. I expected nothing in return but what I received from him is more than I could ever have expected from anyone. What he gave me was truly priceless and for that I am very thankful. He became one of my closet friends, a surrogate grandfather and a role model for life. He often talked of being confused about letting go of his freedom and apartment and spoke to me candidly about how hard it was having everyone telling him what to do with his life after living it so long on his own. He soon realized that he could not do it on his own anymore and I watched him gently let life just take its course. He sat back and let everyone make decisions for him knowing they were for the best. I could see the hurt in his eyes and shed tears for him but he never once shed a tear, only looked away and blinked. He told me not to be sad when he was gone but instead I should go get a single red rose and put it in my apartment to remember him when I heard the news. The fresh red rose sits on my kitchen table as I write these words. I am thankful for the red rose and thankful for the reminder of a friendship lost and a life well lived.

One more random thing...

This is really random and not very significant but while I was changing the parrot's cage last night, I realized one more random thing about me.....

We use newspaper on the bottom of his cage and of course we clean his cage every day. Well if I fold over the newspaper and see anything negative (obituaries, bad stories, etc.) I will crumble up that paper and get a new piece. I refuse to have anything negative on the bottom of his cage.

I was tagged again...

I have been tagged by Lydia at http://www.ontheverge6.blogspot.com/!

I have been tagged before but decided to come up with 7 new random facts about me...

1. I talk to my four sisters and mom TEN MILLION times a day (phone, facebook, email, instant message, in person, etc.)
2. I would have six children IF my husband would just agree and not stop me at four (he tells me I was born in the wrong century if I want six kids)
3. I would love to live on a farm one day and house unwanted animals of all kinds and/or open a dog shelter
4. I love to read fiction novels and I love to do some creative writing (when time allows)..my goal is to write a book one day
5. I don't balance my checkbook
6. The baby I am about to deliver will be the 15th grandchild for my parents (I guess that doesn't have much to do about me now does it)
7. I LOVE candy (sour patch kids, skittles, candy corn, etc.)

These two bloggers, consider yourself tagged by Loving Confusion! Tell us 7 random things about yourself, link to me and pass the tagging fun on! (I don't know anyone else that blogs otherwise I would add some more)!!

Babblings...

I am in complete amazement that I am coming into my 36th week of pregnancy! We could have a full-term baby in one short week...Not saying we will but we could and that is just amazing to me! This pregnancy really has flown!! P and A are beside themselves with excitement! They can't stop talking about their new Baby Bow...a nickname which (I am afraid) will stick by the way in our household. P has many questions for us about 'his baby' everyday....Does she have hands? Can she walk? Why can't she walk? Can she see? Can she watch tv? Can she eat with us? Can she take a bath with A and I? They are giddy with the excitement of having another sibling and R and I are giddy with excitement to see our family growing!!

Speaking of baths, I have reached the point where giving the kids a bath is the worst kind of torture on a pregnant mommy! The bending, washing, and cleaning up just hit the point of HORRIBLE this week! I remember it all too well when I was 9 months prego with A and P was only 16 months! The last month of baths just about took my last bit of energy away from me. I knew it was coming......but hey, if that is the only complaint I have in 9 months, I am good to go....Sign me up for another.....pregnancy not bath!!

We have been putting the baby things out a little early so the kids can get used to them without any issues when the little bundle arrives! Good thing too...A was sitting in the bassinet part of the pack n' play laughing so hard yesterday!! She also loves to put the little diapers on her baby dolls. What is most frightening about that to me (besides the cost of the diapers that she is wasting) is the fact that they actually fit her cabbage patch doll! One forgets how small a newborn really is....even having babies every year!

A trip to Walgreens....

R, the kids and I were checking out at Walgreens the other day. A was feeling proud of her big bro and decided to tell the guy that was scanning our cart full of items that P poops in the toliet. Thinking the Walgreens employee wouldn't know how to respond to that conversation, I responded to A. Well, Ms. Thang was not having it. She told me (in these exact words), 'I am not talking to you. I am telling the man...P POOPS IN THE TOLIET.' Everyone in line laughed and the Walgreens employee said, 'Wow, I poop in the toliet too!!' What a trooper....he must have small kids too!!

Dog rescue back in full force

I woke up yesterday thinking nothing out of the norm had been happening lately and I needed something good for my blog......I need to be more careful what I throw out to universe!!

Yesterday began innocently enough. I picked up my mom and we were heading to get some gas in my car. We turned the corner of a relatively busy intersection in her neighborhood only to find an older gentleman face down in the middle of the street with a puppy on a retractable leash. Of course, despite being almost 9 months pregnant, I put on my rescue cape, pulled over and left my poor mom and kids in the car. When I approached him, he was struggling to get himself onto his feet. Clearly he needed help but out of respect I asked him if he needed a hand. He told me the dog's leash kept wrapping around his legs and making him fall. The smell from his breath told me it was not the dog's leash that made him fall but the whisky he had been drinking the last several years. The stale smell of liquor gripped my lungs, made me dizzy and made the baby leap inside me. Thank goodness morning sickness is gone this late in the game because he would have been covered with my vomit!!

Anyway, I had a puppy to rescue so I had to put that all aside. I took the leash and offered my hand to help pull him up. He was a large gentleman and terribly tipsy to say the least. In hindsight, thank goodness he got himself up because if he fell on me, the puppy would not have been the only one with issues. (I am doing my best to not think about the dead weight of a 250 plus man falling on a pregnant woman)! ANYWAY, he got himself up and I told him to walk to the sidewalk and I would hand back the leash. He was compliant, walked over and right when I handed him the puppy back, good ole 'Jim Beam' fell on his drunk ass again only this time, landing on a yelping puppy. I took the leash back and a guy in a big white van pulled up and asked me if I needed help. I told him that would be really nice because if my husband happened to drive by, we would be in divorce court by 5pm. (Later the guy that pulled over admitted to me that he stopped and offered to help because he thought I hit the man with my car)!!

Anyway, the guy and I struggled to keep 'Jim Beam' upright while we walked him home. He fell again and then told us that someone gave him the dog and that he didn't want it. I told him I would give him my number and when he sobered up, I would take the dog. He kept asking me if I wanted the dog as he unclasped the leash. I told him to keep the leash on the dog.

By the way, I was thinking in that overactive ridiculous mind of mine how I could pull off bringing a mastiff mix into our home of three dogs, one parrot and almost 3 kids without anyone noticing! I was quickly knocked out of my fantasy (that was playing out just fine by the way) when R's face popped into my mind...while he is great with the animals I have forced on him already, he is no Dr. Doolittle and everyone has a breaking point!!

Anyway, I asked the guy that stopped to help if he was willing to take a puppy and he said he and his family had been looking for another pup. With that, 'Jim Beam' was already fumbling for the clasp on the leash again more than willing to give it up. He told us that he was planning to keep it and if it got really big he was going to give it away (the pup was probably 4 months and already huge by the way)!! Anyway, with that, the guy that stopped to help put the pup in his van and 'Jim Beam' carried on his merry drunk way fumbling and stumbling!

I have been stressing about the puppy, the man that took it and the drunk man for the last 24 hours but there was no police report of a missing puppy, the guy that took the puppy called me this morning and was telling me how great the new addition is going and as for the drunk....rest assured, he is still wasted!!

My lovely (verbal) daughter

The other day, A was in a BAD mood and everything was making her cry (a fake little cry but a cry none the less). Anyway, I knelt down next to her to talk to her and make her feel better and she told me to, 'Stop looking at me' and hid her face. Ignoring her request, I then told her I loved her and she said, 'Well, I don't like you!' Oh the joy of your child hitting the age where they speak in complete sentences and tell you how they are really feeling!! The menstrual years will be a BLAST!!

Hospital Tour

P and A are getting ready for their new baby sister to arrive next month. We are all getting very eager to welcome the new baby into our hearts, home and family!! R and I signed the kids up for a sibling hospital tour and they had a blast and learned a lot too!!

And the tour begins

A book about the baby
Practice holding...You practice holding too...
Time to change a diaper (P and A took this all very seriously)!
Never too young to practice changing a diaper!!

Before the camera fell

Okay, the camera came back the other day and I was looking forward to seeing the video I was taking when the camera broke. I was taping A and then P...while I was taping P, A almost fell off the chair, I dropped the camera to grab her and the drop completely knocking off the lens. You hear me say, 'Oh shit' and the video is over...kind of funny (just kind of...don't get too excited)!! Also, please excuse the political statement, it was supposed to be an 'in-house' video!!

Busy doing nothing

Excuse the lack of worthwhile posts the last several weeks. I am at a loss for blog writing these days. I suppose nesting has kicked in a little early and I have been busy organizing random things around the house....let alone the fact that we were dog sitting the last 10 days, have the new parrot, blah blah blah!! Chino has literally not stopped barking at us since Boss arrived. Boss could care less but it is getting under R's skin...and mine I have to say...she is DAMN lucky we are an animal loving house!! Man! She is giving me a run for it!!

I figured with 2 babies in the last few years, we wouldn't be getting a lot of new things but I couldn't be more wrong! We decided Baby Bow needs a new infant carrier, stroller, pack n' play....basically everything and you should see the amount of clothes she already has stacked on the dresser in her room...let alone all the clothes her 'big' sister never even wore that will soon be hers!! We are justifying the new purchases with the fact that we want to have another baby and that baby will use all the new stuff too!! So making lists of things needed and dragging the family to Babies R Us has been keeping me off the computer too....let alone the fact that we have yet to have the laptop fixed.

So the laptop is broken still, the Blackberry is up and running and my damn camera broke!!! MAN!! The good news is Wolf/Ritz Camera is sending me a new one because of my warranty with them!! I highly recommend cameras from Wolf/Ritz!! They have been so fabulous!!

P and A are doing great and loving the sibling company more and more each day! They laugh at things together, they laugh at us together and they play together...they also fight together but I will tell you, A will hold her own!! Little Ms. Thing does not mess around!! This morning in the car A was telling us her back hurt and I asked her why and she told me, 'a mosquito bit me.' Her ability to communicate amazes me!!

To spice up this dull post, I added some cell phone pictures from the park this weekend and one from earlier this summer. (I love that this is now my idea of spicing things up....)

Until next time....

I am resurfacing...

The laptop being missing from downstairs is really having a negative effect on my ability to post on my blog!! On top of that, my Blackberry decided it didn't want to charge anymore so I was stuck with a phone that was out of commission since Friday!! They did 'overnight' a new one but since the thing crapped out on me Friday at 5pm....I was forced to wait until MONDAY!! I forget that I have everything on that thing. It was weird to be so out of touch for three day! I was reminded yet again what life was like without cell phones, handheld/wireless devices, calenders, contacts, memos, etc.

Things are hectic like usual in the most wonderful and entertaining way!! Chino has STILL not stopped barking at the parrot but he doesn't seem to mind much. P and A are getting bigger and loving to play together!! I am just loving the 16 (1/2) month age difference!! I am pushing the 8 month for the pregnancy this Friday!! It has just flown by once again!! A is pushing the 21 month mark on the 29th and I can't believe A was already 5 months old when P was 21 months....Yikes!! The countdown is on for Baby Bow's departure from uterus to world!!! Both the kids are beside themselves with excitement for their new little baby sister...Mom and Dad are beside themselves with excitement too!! Is it possible that this gets more and more exciting each time? I never thought it could get more exciting...Something about the miracle of life, the baby growing, developing, the blessing of it all!!!

Yesterday morning I was trying to get out of the house before 8am (because on top of everything else we have going on, I like to commit to things like taking care of a friend's dogs for the week.....I have to say though, I LOVE her dogs and LOVE spending time with them and more importantly, the dogs and my kids LOVE each other!!) Anyway, I got both kids ready, changed the bird cage, fed him, WASHED MY HANDS, fed the dogs, WASHED MY HANDS, then A decides to drop a load...no big deal!! Changed her WASHED MY HANDS, then Chino throws up...no big deal! Clean it up and WASH MY HANDS...I turn around Chino throws up AGAIN!! Clean it up - WASH MY HANDS.....All before 7:45am!! MAN, my hands are going to be dry as heck by the time winter comes along!! I will take any suggestions on good hand lotion!!! (By the way, there is nothing wrong with Chino, she goes for nice long walks, drinks a ton of water, shoves her face, runs around the house with the kids or torments the bird and vomits..she is still my little love but that is what she does)!!

Until next time my cyber-friends...

P's dream

In the wee-wee hours of the morning (3am to be exact), P woke me up with the BIGGEST smile on his face (he seriously looked like he just saw Santa with a bag full of toys). He said, 'Mommy, I just had a dream and I was at the hospital and I saw Baby Bow when she came out!!' He was so excited. I had to ask him what she looked like because I am so excited to get my eyes on her and he simply said, 'She looked just like Baby Bow Mommy!' Well then, I guess the wait is on....

A new member of the household...

As I stated on my facebook status today, I am starting to feel like I live on Noah's Ark, being stuck in the house because of the rain with three dogs, a parrot, the husband and the kids.....

Parrot???? You may be asking yourself.....YES PARROT!!!

Since R and I started dating in 1995, I told him I had a parrot that lived with my parents but would one day live with us....well last week it happened! My little 'Boss' came to live with us!! P and A are so excited, the dogs will have to adjust (especially our little loving nut Chino), R took it like a champ (although claims he didn't believe me until the parrot was in the front seat on the way to our house that he was really coming to live with us)!

Anyway, Boss has been a part of my life for the last 14 years and I am very happy that the little guy is now living with us. He is so much fun. His exceptional talking skills keep the kids entertained but we will have to work on some of the bad words he has picked up over the years living with my dad!! Just with one parrot alone in the house, I don't know how the heck my mom has done such a FABULOUS job with 3 parrots for the last 14 years (Thanks Mommy)!! P truly is beside himself that Boss really does live at our house now...unlike his dad, he believed me when I kept saying the bird would soon be a member of our household!!

By the way, Chino has done nothing but bark at the bird since he arrived and Boss has done nothing but call her a 'BITCH' and bark back!! Oh how I AM LOVING THE CONFUSION!!!!!

You can just see the excitement in P's eyes...

The kids are so happy their little feathered bro has joined the crew...

Two of the pups are thinking feathered meal - NOT feathered bro...

Finally...A POST!!

Our wireless connection on the laptop is shot so no computer downstairs means no posts.....Getting upstairs to use the desktop does not happen too often.

Last week I woke up early (6:15) to go to Jewel by myself...well, it didn't happen. P woke up and wanted to go with me. I had no problem with having him come with but I have to admit, I was a little excited to explore the aisles of Jewel without having to hear about the 3 year old needs of sugar cereal, toys and anything else he could muster up the thought of 'needing' before 7am. Anyway, he was on his best behavior and followed me around the store without a single complaint.

Needless to say, the store was empty for the most part. I was looking for turkey hotdogs with cheese and asked the lady that was stocking the shelves if they carried them. She had a very short haircut and when she answered she had the voice of a hardcore smoker/drinker (no offense to anyone reading this - - I too have a raspy voice but this was a whole new ballgame). Anyway, P looked at her and asked me a little too loudly if she was a man or a woman. I tried to ignore him but that wasn't a good plan. The question just got louder.

After I recovered from the first loud question and we were several aisles away, a cute old lady walked by us. She was a little taller than P (no kidding) and round in a very cute way. When she walked by she smiled so sweetly and said hello to my lovely (loud) son. Her voice was very high pitched...again, in a very cute way. Two seconds later, my son (that apparently swallowed a microphone) asked if she was a girl or lady. I tried the ignoring thing again but he only got louder...do I ever learn?

Creative play

P is taking a nap and A is enjoying some serious 'private playtime' in the playroom!! I am sitting on the computer and signing P up for some fall sports programs. I looked up at A and she had P's little GI Joe figure and a little pig. She made the GI Joe say, 'you are pretty, you are pretty' to the pig and she moved the pig and made it say back, 'Are you a man?'

I wish my camera/video was not being repaired. It was too funny and too cute!!

Now she has the little pig puppet book with her little hand shoved in there and having the pigs talk to Elmo. 'We love you, we love you, Elmo, oink, oink!!'

HA!! If only my camera were up and running....

Now she is asking me to 'read it' which means her request to read a book is WAY more important than a blog post (plus I am done posting for now)!!

Growing belly

P walked up to me after dinner and put his hand on my belly and told me that Baby Bow has gotten REALLY BIG!! He asked if he could say hello to her and I said yes. He lifted my shirt a bit and said, 'WOW Mommy, Baby Bow really grew. Your belly is big. You better go exercise!!' It was too cute not to post.

When you drop me off at the door...

Okay, I am going to sound like a lazy ungrateful beyatch on this posting but so be it, it is September 1 and 90 degrees, while I am NOT ungrateful by any sense of the word, I admit I am a lazy beyatch when it is this damn hot out!!

I had to run in Home Depot for 3 seconds and grab a paint sample. With P in tow (A was sleeping) R dropped me off at the front door. I swear I thought I told him I would be right back but I admit, despite what I say, that rarely happens when I 'run' in any store. Anyway, we went in, grabbed the samples I was looking for, swung by to look at the Mums and came right out the door.

Hmmmmm.....no husband and sleeping daughter waiting for me in the car. After scanning the lot and looking like I forgot where I parked, I saw him WAY OUT YOUNDER!! WAY OUT!! After huffing and puffing through the heat with P in tow, I FINALLY got to the nice air conditioned car where my lovely husband was waiting!!

So this leaves me with a question about parking lot 'drop off' etiquette...if you drop someone off at the front door, do you not wait in the same damn spot with your hazards on (unless of course a cop comes and tells you to move)??

Exploring at the Science and Industry Museum

Today we loaded up the car and headed to Lake Shore and 57th for a little Science and Industry action!! We had a blast but one forgets how many exhibits there are and how many stairs one needs to climb. Call me gross but I really wanted to check out the babies in a bottle...yes the babies in formaldehyde from the 1950's!! When we got there, I soon realized they were under construction. Apparently their bottles were LEAKING!! Oh man! If that didn't make my stomach turn! I would not want to job of 'rebottling' those things!! EWWWWW!!

We also went because P wanted to see the Dinosaurs Alive movie in the Omimax. We all went into the theater and P was so excited for about 2 seconds. Once the movie kicked on and the entire screen filled with dinosaurs, he wanted out of there. A, on the other hand, was ready for some dinosaur action. She had lots to say during the film too....'Dinosaur eat dinner mommy?' 'Man in helicopter mommy?' 'Want more cracker mommy!!' 'Dinosaur mommy - say roar!!' Anyway, you get the point!! The lady in front of me didn't think it was so cute so we headed out to meet big brother and daddy!!

You knew pictures would follow....

Growing up and stuff

As most of you know, school started in a lot of areas today. P was very into seeing the kids at the bus stops, walking to school and the buses in general. I am stepping into my 3rd trimester and perhaps I am a bit hormonal however, the thought of him being old enough to take a bus to school and being away from me all day was making me tear up a bit. He asked me what was wrong and I told him he was growing up so fast and I could not believe in a couple years he would be old enough to go to school. He looked at me and said, 'Mommy, I am not going to school yet, only a class.' I will be attending the class with him I may add...Since turning 3 a few weeks ago, he has turned into this big boy with lots of valid questions, ideas, and thoughts.

A is doing great as well. She is talking, talking, talking. She told Bernie (the dog) the other night to, 'get out of here and go see daddy.' The other day R asked P if he liked the beach. From the backseat our little Diva told daddy, 'A likes the beach too daddy.' Our vocal little Diva.

On a side note (no pun intended) Aunt C-Note started painting A and Baby Bow's future room last night. (We opted for them sharing a room and keeping a guest bedroom). We will also be painting P's room this week. He is very excited. We made the mistake of letting pick out a color and he picked orange!! I have to say, the decision has grown on me and only one (or two walls) will be the chosen color. The others will be a khaki brown. As for the girls, we are going with two pink walls and two khaki walls. Looking good so far. I will post pictures when the job is complete!!
