In a house full of toddlers and pets, you can start out having a bad day, but you keep getting detoured.

Blah Blah Blah

Well, I have a feeling these posts will be few and far between until after the first of the year. We have a lot to do in the next two weeks in regard to packing up the house - let alone holiday shopping, planning Little Ms. Thangs B-Day party and having two babies under 2 1/2! Then there is the whole unpacking thing but I am not going to focus on that. Baby steps....

A was sick for the first time last week. Not bad for (almost) 11 months!! She had her first fever. She is doing better now. The doc gave her meds and that was the first time I ever had to give either of my kids meds...other than the over the counter pain meds which are not very often. She LOVED taking the meds! LOVED! Now P is taking his first meds and A wants them so badly. We had to put water in a dropper last night to humor her because the poor thing thought we were semi-abusing her by not giving her anything pink and goopy!! That little girl can have a hissy fit! I will have to try and get it on video so you can see her in action. We are trying to figure out where she gets that from.....KIDDING!! We know it is from Daddy....KIDDING AGAIN!! She acts like me - what can I say?

Despite P's roughness and occasional smack on A's head, the kids are getting along so cute and really interacting now!! P invites her in his playhouse and reads to her and brings her toys!! Then he has flare-ups and acts like the two year old boy that he is and A has to watch out!!

We are really enjoying watching the two of them develop and bond!! We look forward to having a house full of kids (and dogs)!! (No I am not pregnant and not even trying...YET)!!

Until next time...

Moving before X-Mas!!

Well, we did it!! We found a place and we are moving before Christmas! (This should be interesting)! After many months (albeit years) of looking looking looking we have finally made a decision!! We are moving much more north than I ever thought we would but with R's parents being north already and mine moving to Wisconsin, we decided to move north too!! We are getting excited but have a lot to do in the next 25 days!!

I already addressed my xmas cards and ordered Addie's bday invites because I know once we get moving, those things will be impossible!!

To those of you that see all the crap on the curb in front of the house - no worries, it will be picked up Friday.

Have a great turkey day!!

Pull it to your chest and go....

that's right work your body....No I haven't lost my mind. I am having thoughts of old Jane Fonda videos. Videos I can do at home without having to drag my children with me to burn some calories. CRAP is all I have to say!! This morning was a morning from hell but I will have you all know, I managed to get 28 minutes of cardio in at the gym! My heart was pumping before I even got on the machine but let's not get ahead of myself here.

We pull up to the gym, get out of the car and are halfway to the front door when P decided "I WANT TO GO HOME" and dashes through the parking lot. Of course, I ran after him and grabbed his neck...I mean his hand! : ) Anyway, I start walking him, albeit, pulling him towards the front door until SNAP. He breaks lose and we are once again dashing to the car. This charade went on for a good 15 minutes. Normally I would pick him up and get him in BUT with the kids puffy coats on, they have an advantage over me for the next 6 months, 1/2 year...YIKES is that how long winter will last?

It didn't get any prettier once we got inside. I will spare you the details but it was not pretty. At one point I decided that we would just go home but with my heart racing and my hands shaking, I decided P would be much safer with the gym staff at the nursery!! Needless to say, he was fine once he got there.

When we left the gym, the same thing happened except this time the 'little sweetie' didn't want to leave the gym. Anyway, 2 hours at the gym and 28 minutes of cardio...you do the math!! He fell asleep shortly after we got in the car. I am going to chalk this episode up to being tired and two years old and PRAY that it doesn't happen tomorrow.

Poop, Throw Up and Snot

I have to apologize for the lack of blog writings. We have been crazy busy at home for some reason. Anyway, things are going well. We are actively looking at houses and are hoping to be all packed up and out of our house before Christmas.

Today is a work day. Of course it is a work day how else would I be writing this blog? Anyway, this morning I was struggling to get ready for work, get the kids organized and get out the door in time to get some Starbucks and drive by a house we are looking at today after work.

All was going well until P decided he wanted to take off the clothes I just put on and then take his socks off before walking downstairs and A decided to drop a load in the diaper I just changed and Chino (one of the dogs) decided to throw up twice. P had a big snot pasted to the side of his face and he did not want me to wipe it off. So this morning before 7:30am, I had poop, throw up and snot on my hands!! Fabulous!

The funny thing is, I sit down at my desk at work and miss being home with the kids and just two short hours ago, I was counting down the seconds before I got here! Hmmmm...

A on the go...

I really don't have time to post right this second but I wanted to upload this video of A. She loves to push around on her bike! And climb up the stairs and fly down the slide.....

The plan never pans out...

Well the plan was to post after I published the pictures on my previous blog but the days have passed and I am over it. I am at work today - a perfect day to blog but I seem to be coming down with a cold. Lucky me.

We went to a Halloween party with Aunt MaMa (one of my sisters) and the kids this weekend. P and A had a blast. They love being with their cousins.

All P wanted to do was dance dance dance!! He loves music. He won a 'party animal of the night' necklace from the DJ! That's my boy!! G-d help us! I have a feeling he will be the life of all future parties he attends if he continues to shake his tailfeathers!! The second we walked into the gym, he started dancing. By the time I maneuvered my pink poodle (better known as A) and dug the camera out of my bag, I only got the very end of the dancing and by then he was also scanning the room and losing the beat!! Also, I had the camera turned and you can't adjust the image on th video so be prepared to tip your head to the side!
