My Grandma...

My Grandma was lucky enough to travel around the world several times playing in the Ziegfeld Follies, Ingenues. She never had a lesson yet played the clarinet and the saxophone beautifully. She was an amazingly talented woman that left behind a legacy of great photos, memories and a family that is proud of her and honored to call her Grandma....many, many years after she graced this earth.

She kept a journal of her travels and in the first line she wrote that her memories were so vivid that not even time could erase. Well, unfortunately for Grandma, time did erase those memories but thanks to her ability to capture many of her moments with pictures, brochures, magazine clippings and other keepsakes, the memory is vivid in all of our minds.

Thanks to the Internet and some searching online, my sister was able to find this amazing video of Grandma. She stands several times for solos and is seated closest to the piano player, center left. Thanks Sue for bringing Grandma back to all of us, if only for a moment!!

Sit back and enjoy....
