Date Night...

So my date nights have changed over the years!! Before I even left the house, I had company in the shower!! P and A decided they wanted to lather up and I figured it was one less thing I had to do this weekend!

Thanks to Aunt Susie, R and I actually got out of the house this evening!! This is the fifth time we have left the kids since P was born 2 1/2 years ago (this included a trip to the hospital by the way)! I am not complaining. This is completely by choice. We enjoy being with the kids, taking the kids and all being together. But we need to spread our wings a little and our therapist suggested we get out.....JUST KIDDING! We don't see a therapist!

When we pulled out of the driveway, we had no plans. Our main plan was to get the heck out of the house and once we did that, we had no idea where to go. We were like teenagers sneaking out of the house. R suggested we drive around the block - which we ended up doing because neither of us remembered to bring our wallets.

We stumbled upon a Chinese restaurant that is down the street from our house. It really felt like we were on a date. We had great food, a great conversation and a great time.

More importantly, P and A were having a blast with their Aunt Susie and their cousins.
